Mackenzie Gonzalez

My name is Mackenzie Gonzalez …I am 8 years old and in live in Lebanon PA with my dad Fred, my mom Susie and my brother Griffin.  I did a reproduction of a bog turtle for the West Virginia show last year and received a trophy at that show.   So for the state show I repainted the turtle and entered that in the Jr amateur….  I won Best of category in the Jr Amateur.  I was happy to win that award but was really surprised when they called my name to win the Morgan Reptile Award and the Star Fish Award.  I hung all my awards in my room when I got home.  I had a lot of fun at the state show and hope my parents bring me with to the show next year.   I would like to compete again.  I enjoy doing craft and art projects. I like school and especially my science and art class.  I have some pets, a dwarf hamster named Skittles and two fish……My family also has two dogs (the younger one is my baby).

Thanks to the PTA for picking me as the spotlight of the month and for letting the youth participate.
