President's Message
It's that time of year again to get ready
for the 33rd Annual Pa. State Taxidermy and Wildlife Art
Championships. 15 Action packed seminars, 1 of which will be
hands on , 3 children's seminars and a panel seminar which is
something new for the P.T.A. What an exciting week we have
planed for the show. Make sure to read through the review to get
your rooms booked, your registrations filled out , your
competition pieces done and have them judged by a great line up
of judges. Come on out and see all your old and new Taxidermy
community friends. The Cabela's weekend was held once
again this past September and what a nice show it was 61 entries
and 3 new members joined the Association. We held our membership
meeting at the show and once again it was a very disappointing
turn out for members in attendance, these meetings are held to
get your input and ideas, and to only have about 10 people
attend these meetings is not benefiting anyone, so once again we
will have another membership meeting at our State Championships
at 7 Springs, come to these meeting and let your voices be
heard.
I would also like to stress that we always need help at these
shows feel free to give a board member a call, especially the
set up for the backboards at the show on Tuesday Feb. 28.
Remember to support your Association and come down to the
Eastern Sports and outdoor show and enter your mount at the
Harrisburg Competition contact Bob Evans for further
